Series includes materials related to Anna Wolf's interactions with the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions primarily during the time period when she was Director of the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing and Nursing Services from 1941-1955. Of particular interest is Anna Wolf's correspondence with Winford Smith, director of the hospital, in which they discuss hospital policy as it relates to nursing. Series also includes a subseries related to Wolf's appointment and retirement at the hospital. The Records of the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing are a seperate but related record group which documents much of Anna Wolf's tenure as director.
