[Series] Governance and Administration. — 1894-1963
The Governance and Administration record group contains documents from the office of the superintendent. A general study from the period from 1894 to 1963 encompasses most of the school's growth. Detailed reports about the Home, Hospital, and School from Jane Nash's tenure provide a history of the institution as a whole from 1920 to 1955.
This series consists primarily of reports from the superintendent/director to the Board of Trustees. The period of 1920 to 1955 includes most of Jane Nash's tenure which encompassed vast changes in all three components of the institution, the School, the Home, and the Hospital.
This publication by the Committee on the Grading of Nursing Schools includes Jane Nash's report to the committee. This report is a census from the year 1932 of staff, students, facilities, and patients.
