Creator: Baker, Susan
These materials were gathered by Baker in the process of revising The Injury Fact Book for a second edition that was published in 1992. They contain data on aviation crashes; tables and figures on a wide variety of injury and death related information; occupational injury files; & sports injury files.
There are materials pertaining to the Sports Injuries Chapter, organized topically by sport, that include journal articles, papers, and reports (submission to the Maryland Injury Prevention Advisory Committee Contribution to the Subcommittee on Sports and Recreational Injuries Report & MMWR). Dates: 1967; 1976; 1978; 1985-1989
Materials consist of annotated printouts of tables on airplane crashes sorted by different variables (such as airport, crash category, operator, scheduled and nonscheduled flights, etc.) for the years 1983-1988.
Figures are on a wide range of injury-related information, including death rates. Many figures have edits and include graphs, maps, pie charts, tables-several from the Injury Fact Book, & lists of figures ordered by chapter, as well as some correspondence.
