This folder contains news clippings and correspondence about Dr. Kouwenhoven having received the first Power-Life Award for his research on the effects of electricity on the human body and for the development of closed-chest cardiac massage. The award is given by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for "signifcant contributions in the field of harmonious development of man and his environment."
