There are over 10,000 objects in the Cultural Properties Collections. The dates of the materials range from the mid-nineteenth century to the present.

All items in the Cultural Properties Collections are available for viewing. Many items are on display in buildings of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions while others are only accessible at the Medical Archives. Provenance files and other documentation relating to the history of the objects are available for reference and research in the Medical Archives.
