This virtual exhibit is based upon the Vashti Bartlett exhibit
currently on display at The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing
in Baltimore, Maryland. Both exhibits feature documents from the collection
of Vashti Bartlett, a 1906 graduate of the School of Nursing. The Bartlett
Collection is part of the Johns Hopkins Nursing Historical Collection
which is housed in the Alan
Mason Chesney Medical Archives of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
The Johns
Hopkins Nurses' Alumni Association is funding the organization
and preservation of the Johns Hopkins Nursing Historical Collection
and the production of the Vashti Bartlett exhibits.
